Product Marketing Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a highly skilled marketing manager to help us promote our offerings. We’re looking for an energetic, motivated self-starter who has a passion for technology and can translate the capabilities of a technology solution into compelling sales messaging and positioning.

Objectives

Develop product and solution positioning and messaging.
Create sales tools to effectively communicate product and solution benefits.
Collaborate with engineering and business teams to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products.
Research competitive solutions and emerging trends and maintain comparisons and evaluations.
Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing team.

Requirements

5+ years of technical product software marketing experience
Experience with Cloud/Saas applications & technologies
Broad understanding of architecture & technical integrations
Experience working with product management & engineering/development teams

Required skills and qualifications

Successful track record in senior marketing roles and campaign creation.
Strong technical foundation and ability to pick up and understand product/tech concepts (e.g., engineering degree and/or product/engineering experience).
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
Strong communication skills required – both verbal and written, with experience writing for technical audiences.
Evangelize Synadia products externally, to prospects, and customers—in meetings, webinars, and anywhere else required.
Open Source and start-up experience are strongly preferred.

Salary range

The projected compensation range for this position is $135,000 to $165,000. The projected salary range is just one component of the total compensation
