Technical Marketing Engineer

Our Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) role is critical to this mission, acting as technical subject matter experts who bridge the gap between product management, engineering and marketing to create content that accelerates product adoption and understanding among customers, partners, and internal teams.
About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer who is passionate about technology, excited to get hands-on with NATS and Synadia products, and skilled at communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. In this role, you will collaborate across teams to develop and deliver technical marketing content, support product launches, enable sales teams, and educate customers on achieving key business outcomes with Synadia’s solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support Product Launches: Work closely with product management and track upcoming feature releases, perform pre-launch tasks, and create post-launch content such as technical overviews, white papers, solution briefs, and deep-dive guides.
- Build and Manage Demo Environments: Design and maintain demo setups and demo apps to showcase product capabilities and integrations
- Lead Marketing Events: Plan and execute product demonstrations at webinars and industry events.
- Inform and Inspire Customers: Produce and promote technical content, such as blogs and videos, to demonstrate product features and key use cases. Promote technical content across internal and external channels, including webinars, social media, and online communities.
- Enable Sales and Technology Partners: Develop and drive field enablement programs, maintain demo environments, and create best practices and integration guides. Collaborate with technology partners to support product integration and adoption.
- Conduct Competitive Analysis: Research competitive products to inform our product strategy and provide actionable insights to product management.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical marketing, particularly in software or technology products.
- Strong technical foundation and experience working closely with product management and engineering teams.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver engaging technical content for a variety of audiences.
- Experience with field enablement, product launches, and customer education.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messages.
- Experience in organizing and leading marketing events, webinars, and promotional activities.
- Knowledge of competitive analysis and thought leadership development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background with open-source software or contributions to open-source projects.
- Experience in a technical marketing role, ideally within cloud, SaaS, or networking technologies.
- Experience with messaging architectures and distributed systems beyond cloud basics.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide data-driven insights.

Salary range
The projected compensation range for this position is $135,000 to $165,000. This is one component of a comprehensive benefits package.
