Marketing Web Developer

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative web or front-end developer who’s also interested in marketing and information design. Ideally you are a motivated self-starter who has a passion for technology and is excited to create and own compelling digital experiences, primarily our marketing site, Synadia.com

In this role you will blend aesthetics and functionality so that our web presence is eye-catching, intuitive, and informative to our audience of developers, engineers, and technologists.

Responsibilities

Design and develop visually appealing, user-centric websites that align with Synadia’s brand and messaging.
Optimize landing pages to drive engagement and conversions for our content, events, and product offerings.
Create and maintain a comprehensive web style guide to ensure consistent design across all online platforms.
Design web graphics, icons, and user journeys that enhance usability and engagement.
Develop responsive designs that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
Execute and iterate on designs based on internal and external feedback, analytics, and industry best practices.
Manage web design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

About You: Skills and Qualifications

2+ years in web or front-end design, with knowledge of user experience (UX) and/or user interface (UI) design principles
You’re very comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with responsive design and mobile-first principles.
You’re proficient in one of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar web design tools
You have a well-curated portfolio showcasing web design and development projects and your ability to create compelling digital experiences.
You’ve worked in technology-driven, creative environments (ideally either a B2B startup or web development agency) where collaboration and iteration are the norm
Experience with Astro or Storyblok is a significant plus

Salary range

The projected compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000. The projected salary range is just one component of the total compensation.
